Ders Kodu AKTS T+U+L Kredi Ders Türü İED20305 4 3+0 3 Zorunlu Ders Linki (Türkçe) : Kopyala Ders Linki (İngilizce) : Kopyala Dersin Dili Türkçe Dersin Düzeyi Lisans Öğretim Türü Örgün Öğretim Dersin Türü Zorunlu Dersin Amacı Bu dersin amacı, öğrenciye Rönesans ve 17. yüzyıl sonuna kadar olan dönemde İngilterede görülen tarihsel ve kültürel olayları değerlendirebilecek, şiir ve düzyazının bu süreç içerisinde nasıl geliştiğini gözlemleyebilecek ve bu dönemde ortaya çıkan ve gelişen türleri ve başlıca edebi eserleri söz konusu gelişmeler ışığında yorumlayabilecek bilgi, beceri ve yetkinlikleri kazandırmaktır. Dersin İçeriği Bu ders, Rönesans dönemi, tarihi ve edebiyatının tanıtımı ile başlayıp 17. yüzyıl İngiliz tarihi, kültürü ve edebiyatı hakkında bilgi verilerek devam eder. Sonrasında Rönesans dönemi İngiliz edebiyatı ve 17. yüzyıl İngiliz edebiyatı yazar ve eserlerinden örnekler incelenir, tartışılır, yorumlanır. Dersin Ön Koşulları Yok Dersin Koordinatörü Dr. Öğr. Dersin Öğrenme Çıktıları: Bu dersin başarılı bir şekilde tamamlanmasıyla öğrenciler şunları yapabileceklerdir:

# Açıklama 1 Avrupa ve İngiliz Rönesansı ve Restorasyon dönemlerinin tarihi, kültürel, felsefi, toplumsal ve edebi özellikleri hakkında temel güncel kuramsal ve uygulamalı bilgiye sahiptir. 2 Rönesans ve Restorasyon dönemi şiiri ve düzyazısının özellikleri, edebi kavramları, türleri, ve terimleri ile ilgili temel güncel kuramsal ve uygulamalı bilgiye sahiptir. 3 İngiliz Rönesansı ve Restorasyon dönemi edebiyatının türlerini karakteristik özellikleri ile tanımlamak ve bu türleri temsil eden metinleri, tarihsel, sosyal, kültürel, ekonomik, siyasi ve ekolojik arka planları bağlamında açıklamak ve analiz etmek için gerekli kuramsal ve uygulamalı bilgiye sahiptir. 4 İngilizce dilinin sistematik yapısı, işleyişi ve yazılı ve sözlü kullanımları hakkında ileri düzeyde kuramsal ve uygulamalı bilgiye sahiptir. 5 Disiplinlerarası bir yaklaşımla, edebi ve kültürel metinleri ilgili kuramları uygulayarak analiz eder. 6 Dönemin önde gelen yazın türlerinden olan sone, pastoral ve düzyazı eserlerini tartışır. 7 Cavalier şiir geleneğini yapısal, biçimsel ve tematik olarak tanır ve açıklar. 8 Metafizik şiir geleneğini yapısal, biçimsel ve tematik olarak tanır ve açıklar. 9 İngiliz edebiyatını, kültürünü, tarihini ve toplumunu müfredatiçi ve müfredatdışı faaliyetlere katılarak incelemek yoluyla, kendi kültürüne ve diğer kültürlere karşı ön yargısız, saygılı ve iletişime ve öğrenmeye açık bir tutum geliştirir. 10 Temel evrensel değerleri benimseyerek farklı dil, ırk, cinsiyet, din ve sosyal sınıf gruplarına karşı ön yargısız, saygılı ve iletişime ve öğrenmeye açık bir tutum geliştirir.
